OVERVIEW

Basket making is an ancient craft throughout the world and Ruth Woods has loved exploring this craft for many years. She has drawn her inspiration from several sources and has learnt the skills from travelling and meeting women who have shared their knowledge.

During the class you will be taught how to stitch a coiled basket with a variety of materials to help let your creative juices flow. Once you have mastered the technique you will be guided in making your own basket and encouraged to create your own design. You will be given a resource list and access to videos to refresh your knowledge to take home.
